I set up a local Papercups instance to try out for my web application. Generally, I like it, but there are issues. I am definitely concerned that the project is in maintenance mode. Is this a permanent situation?

Also, I have an issue where within my app, if I log out, and log in as a new user, the papercups widget still thinks it is the previous user session. I am passing a username and email in the config, so, I'm not sure how to resolve this. We are interested in using this product, and would initially sign up for the Starter tier, but this is dependent upon there being support. TIA.

I added a user id into the config and the issue with confusing users seems to have resolved. LOL. So, you can ignore that.

If I am self hosting and don't require any support, am I allowed to use the app without a subscription? Will there be a limit on number of messages per month? I have noticed the client sends lots of requests to papercups.io.
