Hello a general question : • Do you advise using PACT for queues and API contracts even when not doing it from the start and the project is already quite mature but suffers contracts issues? If so any documented best practices or real experiences feedbacks? • Planning to move from JSON to Protobufs does this means a lof of efforts converting existing tests based on json or can tests be developed in a resilient way to formats from scratch?

For the first question, yes - that’s a common use case. I don’t think we have any documented practices beyond general best practices - anything in particular you were expecting?
Converting from JSON -> Protobufs will require the use of plugins, so you’ll need to make sure the language you use supports plugins.
or can tests be developed in a resilient way to formats from scratch?
what does this mean, sorry?

I mean since I know already that we will be moving to Protobufs, can I take this in consideration right now and develop PACT json based tests in a way that converting to Protobufs later is not needed or easier

When starting adding API and queue PACT tests on a mature app, I had to set a prod baseline for each contract. Since PACT is not a business logic testing framework, I am wondering how to make sure while catching up to cover all existing interactions? ù
