Hi, I’d like to check if the on-prem version of PactFlow (enterprise v2.3.0) supports AI features such as MCP. Also, does MCP support Python? I encountered an error while trying it out on the cloud PactFlow:
Copy code
Error: MPC -32602: MCP error -32602: Invalid arguments for tool contract-testing_generate_pact_tests: [
  {
    "received": "python",
    "code": "invalid_enum_value",
    "options": [
      "javascript",
      "typescript",
      "java",
      "golang",
      "dotnet",
      "kotlin",
      "swift",
      "php"
    ],
    "path": [
      "language"
    ],
    "message": "Invalid enum value. Expected 'javascript' | 'typescript' | 'java' | 'golang' | 'dotnet' | 'kotlin' | 'swift' | 'php', received 'python'"
  }
]
Thanks!

PactFlow on-prem doesn’t support generate or review pacts, because they are saas-only features. We’ll be adding other tools to MCP and we’ll also be improving the on-prem/OSS Pact Broker support (checking permissions on boot, and only registering tools)
And no, we don’t support Python (yet). We only recently released v3 support, which we wanted to support in our MCP over v2
IIRC you couldn’t use our AI solution as you couldn’t support OpenAI (our current provider)?

yes, we're deploying on air-gap on-prem, thus have no access to OpenAI models, only to our on-prem models.
just to double check, on-prem PactFlow on an air-gapped environment does not support MCP?
I’m also testing Continue.dev instead of Copilot for SmartBear MCP, but I encountered an issue when loading resources for SmartBear MCP. The reason I’m using Continue.dev together with the local PactFlow setup is to mimic the same infrastructure we have on-prem. Just trying my luck to see if Matt might have any ideas on what could be causing the issue.

it only supports the MCP commands that are not the AI ones hosted on pactflow cloud (code generation and code review). e.g. it supports the can-i-deploy query, and provider states endpoints etc. (these are available on both on-prem and OSS Pact Brokers)
