hi, quick question. Does pact only check for the key (attributes) or the values as well? I noticed many of our consumers would explicitly define a value for example, "key1" : "Test1" instead of just setting it as a data type string that would look like this "key1": "string". However, I am just wondering during the contract verification are the values also checked?

It can do both. It depends on how you setup the test. If you use certain matchers, only the shape is considered . If you don't use matchers, exact value matching is used
