Question about the database needed for pact-broker. does it need a postgres database. could another DB try work.
the reason for my question is very specific. As I posted earlier, I am working on deploying this in azure. I have a successful deployment using an azure container instance service and running in an Azure Web App.
In my environment, we try to make sure all resources are on a private network. We have a hub and spoke virtual network model.
Resource that can natively connect to the vNet are, like a Virtual machine. or using vNet integration with the Web app. However resource like a key vault or postgres can be connected with a private endpoint resource.
I am running into issues applying the private endpoint resource to the postgres resource.
I have had success with private endpoint connections with cosmos, or azure sql, etc... Can you use another database for a production workload of pact-broker?
