hey team, I have been deleting some old unused integrations in pactflow and it seems it has possibly removed all contracts for a provider (where the provider had many other integrations), is it possible to check pactflow logs to see what happened, whether that was the case, or if something else has happened? was this the expected behaviour?
b
Hey Milda when we delete integration between applications it will automatically be deleted contracts for those applications. There is an audit endpoint that you can make use of to get logs. I hope this explains your issue

Could you please create a support ticket? We can look into it and potentially resurrect the lost data if that's needed.
The audit endpoint will only show the actions and by who performed it, not each individual data that gets removed as part of it tho

Please create a ticket here with the issue details so that we can properly track the resolution and the PactFlow product support team will continue to work through it with you: https://support.smartbear.com/pactflow/message

hi, thanks for the reply. I was going off of this particular part in the docs/how_to:
Select Delete integration. This will delete all data associated with this integration (applications, pacts, verifications, application versions, branches, tags and webhooks) that are not associated with other integrations.
the key words being
that are not associated with other integrations
which I read as "contracts that are associated with other integrations will not be deleted", is this incorrect then?

Yeah, it's likely a bug if that's the case and we'll want to address it ASAP
m
ok I'll raise the ticket

Thanks, we’ll need it if you need us to resurrect any data for you (if it’s possible)
