Hey there, I'm currently setting up the GitLab Pipeline configuration for Pact Integration. However, I encountered the issue that recommended way to select consumer branches to verify is to look for a branch with a matching name. However, the branches in our repositories will often include the number and name of the team-specific task to implement that feature and therefore usually will not share the same name. Now I'm thinking about how the developers could easily specify, which branch to verify against. Are there any preexisting solutions/concepts for this? I was thinking about including a section in the merge requests template where the merge request or branch name of the consumer repository could be linked. The pipeline would then extract this section, resolve the branch name and pass it to pact. Maybe someone has already done something similar?
