👋 I've got a question about the exposed
/metrics
endpoint. We've got an internal instance of a pact broker and it shows a total of 8 unique "pacticipants" but I'm getting 12. I'm curious if I'm just misunderstanding what a pacticipant is or if there's something I'm missing. I'm also wondering if it's some cache/DB issue?
Copy code
"pacticipants": {
    "count": 12,
    "withMainBranchSetCount": 5
  },
Perhaps it's counting the
integrations
?
Copy code
"integrations": {
    "count": 4
  },

What does a curl to the
/pacticipants
endpoint show?
l
Ah! Hey again Matt - Thanks! Yeah, a
/pacticipants
is giving 12 and I'm realizing the 4 are referencing pacticipants that we manually deleted from the UI

2 of them being the baked-in

yep, so you might have deleted the integrations, but the apps are still there
now you know 🙂
l
Got it! Yeah, realizing the nomenclature and that an integration is a different data type. Would manual
DELETE
with curl suffice?
m
yep

Roger!
m
I think
curl -X DELETE <broker>/pacticipants/<pacticipant>
l
giving that a shot

💥 That worked. Seeing the correct number now via
/metrics
. Cheers, Matt!

WOOT
no worries 🙂
