Oof, Claude Projects seems really smooth. By comparison, Codex Cloud is an exercise in frustration… lolsob In this image • I hadn’t connected any repos, so I connected them later -> it worked • the repos are in OpenHands org, and the CC app is not installed -> no problem, it overrode with my PAT • … I reflexively told it I love it, and it immediately put ❤️ !
Codex Cloud quick compare: • can't connect OpenHands/ repos • seems like it can, and it takes forever to get blocked all the time • can republish an env, but takes minutes of waiting • on I don’t remember which UI, cuz it’s not on iPad BTW, the above is on iPad

So claude is a smoother user experience?
c
Yeah
You know, both used to be very limited (a single repo?!) and annoying (why didn’t it restore the session?!)
or like, if you made a commit to a PR opened by them “cannot continue on that PR at this time”
r
The single repo thing is bothersome and why i run the harnesses locally. Claude has a smoother experience, codex is just... a better model. Currently, with 6.1 sol and astra, better than Opus 5.5. Though, with the state of the Inference, this can change weekly.
Codex seems to manage its subagents better, too

OK… this is cool 🤔
Another tiny tiny detail: their agent sets some routine, to be notified when the status of the PR it just made changes. Then the user comes back to a friendly proactive update in the conversation.
(I did not notify it!)

We can take the best of both worlds into agent server!
Fix everything. Make no mistakes. 🫠

One more tiny surprise: • Claude Project exposes a coordinator agent, which sends tasks to other agents • the user can talk to the coordinator and it will forward to the right agent • or, they can talk to the worker agent, it's a normal conversation, and it does things I was going back and forth with a sub agent, when suddenly at one of my messages, a message from the coordinator popped up. It was watching us! 😅
