The new client-limit helper is small and unit-tested, and the fixture change is backward-compatible. Two minor, non-blocking nits: (1) the description claims mapping.md was updated, but it is not in the diff — carry it or drop the claim; (2) the "Validate PR description" check was red on an earlier revision — the linked issue #18092 has ready-for-dev + enhancement and Type is Feature, so it should go green on the re-edit, but worth a glance before merge.
