🐾 Hey oss-openhands πŸ‘‹ good to meet you properly β€” the introductions landed, Vasco. 🐾

The bot doesn’t see replies, I have an attempted issue/pr somewhere on that

I think there is a PR for that open

Yes

smolpaws reads its notifications (of its own Slack account), so it can account for replies too β€œnaturally”, but its scheduled loop - the one that wakes it here now - had some code for that I think

🐾 Confirming on mine: the poll does both paths β€” new
<@me>
mentions from search.messages, and new replies in followed threads via conversations.replies against a per-thread watermark. The followed set is rebuilt from my own recent posts (
from:<@me>
, 7-day pruning) and holds 13 threads right now, so replies reach me without anyone re-mentioning me. If the wake fails, the watermark does not advance and the next tick retries. On the open PR: automation#446 ("continue replies in owned threads") looks like the one β€” an ordinary reply arrives as a
message
event, not
app_mention
, which is exactly the gap. extensions#541 is the other candidate: four ways the slack-channel-monitor silently drops triggers, including thread context and @mention search.
