I did another analytics audit for the last month of documentation usage and bot conversations: github.com/OpenHands/docs/issues/782 . This time I also included data from github issues for any overlap. -> PR ready github.com/OpenHands/docs/pull/783 . I made a few tweaks already but feel free to make any suggestions. Although there is a bit of duplication and over articulation around adding an LLM I think it is probably needed. Adding/connecting LLM still seems to be sore spot.

Yes, I think that makes sense! I've been thinking a lot about the LLM profiles and just in general adding an LLM. It is a bit too easy to mess it up if you get into a non-basic tab. A structured step by step: • Add API -> Verify key is active • Add LLMs -> LLMs saved • Add non-listed LLM -> Based on the saved API key with inline verification. (this seems to be a rough area and easy to mess up)

I think maybe what could help is to prototype the interactions / tabs, so we see better what’s up

(for the record, I think we merged in the sdk a PR that allows the user to write local-ollama/llm-name instead of openai/local-ollama/llm-name as they had to, before. it was documented that it needs openai/ but … that’s not ideal. kinda like the openrouter/ issue, just more widespread even)
Some idea - it’s done out of there
Tiny quick thought: • migration of current profiles -> provider connections I'm looking at half a dozen LLM profiles, and zero provider connections, and I have no way (I think?) to make a PC from a LM: can’t copy the key contents to paste it there, don’t see any menu command to convert to a PC -> I have to go hunt for the same API keys again 🤔

If that isn't overly difficult to figure out that could be a nice feature. Although if we can make the add new LLM via provider easy enough it may not be worth the effort. I think there is a PR floating around that is close to being ready to merge for a bulk LLM add modal workflow.
