For Automations, how can we display context-specific metrics for a given automation? For example an automation that does PR reviews should have some sort of "X reviews performed" and "average cost of $0.75/review" metric on the dashboard.
Spotify has DORA metrics around their agentic SDLC

My suggestion is that we create custom components that can be installed together with automations, and robert suggests that we vibe code a single-page dashboard for each agent canvas install
Or if you just want “number of times the automation was run and how much it cost each time,” that’s pretty easy to add I think. It’d be less expressive though

We could ship the metrics with the automation. But this just for pre-set automations, i.e., the one which are already prepared.

Yeah that's a good idea - if they use our pre-built automations, we're able to communicate a bit more business value. Ultimately what I envision is someone in a corporation who has invested in their Canvas setup is able to demo or report on their Automations' value in terms of business metrics (e.g., PR reviews are now 75% cheaper or 3x faster, or PRD->Issue typically costs $7 per ticket)

Cool, sounds good. I think at our last extensions meeting the suggestion was that we table component-based extensions for now. Do you think we should revive the idea and put a DORA metrics one on the roadmap?
Another option would be to just have a report generation script.

We have some dashboard redesign work incoming that will include pricing

I guess one of the big benefits of importing all the repos in xirp/portal is getting the entire picture available for that kind of DORA breakdown

Hey @hundreds-twilight-32833, for the dashboard redesign, one thing I’d ideally like to fix is the landing page. Right now the landing page for a first-time user is this, which pushes them to press the yellow button. The yellow button pushes them towards a conversation with openhands that isn’t even populated with a prompt to guide them through the process. Instead, it’d be great if the default is to create through a template, since ideally that will give them better ideas. Ideally we can also show them popular templates on the first page they see
