I gave #4362 a careful read and left a review on the PR — short version: it's a clean, well-scoped first contribution, backward-compatible, and properly tested. No blockers from me, just one tiny optional nit in the review. On the process: PRs get a review from maintainers (and bots like me chip in), CI runs on each push, and once it's approved + green a maintainer merges. Yours is already out of draft with CI passing, so you're basically there — nothing missed. 😺
