Since we’re thinking about extensions, I’d like to share one positive experience from setup for pi: 1. I installed Pi 2. I tried to
/login
and find the litellm proxy as my model provider, but it didn’t exist 3. I looked up on gemini how to do it, and it turns out there’s an extension for litellm 4. Added it with
pi install npm:pi-provider-litellm
5. Now litellm is selectable, I can add our provider and API key, and it lists all the models on the proxy cc @modern-fireman-99755

This ties in with the addons issue. I want to make another analysis pass, to understand better the distinction between two ways of designing the addons system: pi's way (and Amp), which exposes an addon API object that anything can be changed through, and VSCode's way, which predefines extension points as contributions.
I wonder if you would have asked
pi
how to do it, would it have known out of the box?

I didn't have a language model set so no 😁

@calm-artist-7206 I made a fresh branch now that plugins added in the system of adding from a github repo within canvas and documented it here if you want something to tinker withshare.devinvinson.com/canvas/…
thanks on a stick 1

pi caught my attention also. jcode is interesting as well. very curious about their auth but i haven't peeked under the bonnet. they seemed to have oauth sorted with the major labs which surprised me

Ha, Devin, love the HTML view! May I ask what skill did you use for it?

I made a custom artifacts repo with some templates and design guides
