Hi Team,
Can someone help me understand where I am going wrong. I have been trying to setup agent-canvas  for the first time, I have setup everyting models, agents and backend etc. But still upon conversing I am getting the following error:

and the error occurs when attempting to start a conversation?

by any chance have you setup mcps, etc? mind sharing as much detail about your configurations

nope I have not configured or setup nothing except llm and agent.

I’m taking a look, the PR fixing that issue is a bandaid rather than a fundamental solution, one second

garrrr, browser uses pinned the `openai` package’s version in March and hasn’t upgraded since then: <https://github.com/browser-use/browser-use/issues/4285|github.com/browser-use/browser-use/issues/4285>

so we either get mcp 2.0 or openai, but not both…

I see they pinned because of supply chain concerns :sweat:

it’s reasonable to pin something, but not for 5 months
