07/25/2026, 1:00 PMbrace-expansion, fs-extra, undici, tar, and sax are under seven days old. Re-review after July 31, 18:50 UTC. Same resulting lockfile as #1937, so only one should eventually merge.
• ⏳ #1937 app-builder-lib + electron-builder — same freshness blocker and same resulting lockfile as #1938. Re-review after _July 31, 18:50 UTC_; only one should eventually merge.
• ⏳ #1936 PostCSS 8.5.23 — uploaded July 24 and still inside the seven-day window. Re-review after July 31, 17:05 UTC.
• ⚠️ #1927 GitHub Actions group — release age/provenance checks are acceptable, but actions/download-artifact@v8 was not exercised by any PR workflow. Held under the repo rule requiring successful runtime coverage for every updated Action.
• ⚠️ #1922 form-data 4.0.6 — supply-chain checks passed, but required Docker E2E is red. Logs show a mock-server readiness timeout seconds before it became ready; I did not rerun it because the instruction was not to run code.
Merge status
• None merged yet. GitHub rejected all eight approved merges because the branches are behind main and the strict ruleset requires a fresh test-and-build (ubuntu) result against current main.
• Updating the branches would trigger fresh CI, so I stopped rather than conflict with the “do not run code” instruction.
Other bots
• No other dependency-update bot PRs found. #1944 is a draft release-bot PR, not a dependency update, so I excluded it.
Do you want me to update the eight approved branches, allow CI to run, and merge whichever become green?calm-artist-7206

• `rolldown`: 1.0.0-rc.17 → 1.0.3
• `@rolldown/pluginutils`: 1.0.0-rc.17 → 1.0.1
• All 15 platform-specific @rolldown/binding-* packages: 1.0.0-rc.17 → 1.0.3
For those artifacts, I verified:
• Every version was published in May 2026, well beyond the seven-day minimum.
• All 18 transitive artifacts were published through GitHub Actions and have npm provenance attestations.
• Every integrity hash in package-lock.json matches the corresponding npm registry integrity hash—zero mismatches.
• The platform bindings all move together to the same 1.0.3 release.
• Vite’s upstream changelog explicitly identifies the Rolldown 1.0.3 upgrade and related dependency updates, so the lockfile churn is expected rather than unexplained.
So my approval of #1939 Vite 8.0.16 covers the complete lockfile resolution, including the Rolldown native bindings—not just vite itself.calm-artist-7206

Double-check of the other approved Dependabot PRs
• ✅ #1921 ws + engine.io-client
engine.io-client moves 6.6.5 → 6.6.6 and changes its ws requirement from ~8.20.1 to ~8.21.0. The obsolete nested ws@8.20.1 is removed because the existing top-level ws@8.21.0 now satisfies it. Both releases are older than seven days, integrity matches npm, and the relationship matches the upstream Socket.IO source diff. No unexplained packages were added.
• ✅ #1882 body-parser
Only body-parser changes, from 1.20.5 → 1.20.6. Its lockfile integrity matches npm. No transitive packages or dependency relationships change.
• ✅ #1881 shell-quote
Only shell-quote changes, from 1.8.4 → 1.9.0, plus the expected root dependency declaration. Its lockfile integrity matches npm. No transitive packages are added.
• ✅ #1879 protobufjs
protobufjs moves 7.6.2 → 7.6.5, and @protobufjs/inquire@1.1.2 is removed. I confirmed upstream intentionally removed that dependency and its source directory. The protobufjs integrity matches npm; no replacement or unexplained package was introduced. Its pre-existing postinstall hook is unchanged.
• ✅ #1868 Axios
axios moves 1.16.0 → 1.18.0 and intentionally adds https-proxy-agent@5.0.1, which brings in agent-base@6.0.2. All three integrity hashes match npm. The transitive releases date from 2022 and 2020, have unchanged established publishers, are not deprecated, have source tags, and add no install lifecycle hooks. The addition matches Axios’s upstream source manifest.
• ✅ #1867 lucide-react
Only lucide-react changes, from 1.14.0 → 1.25.0, plus the expected root dependency declaration. Its integrity matches npm, it is older than seven days, and no transitive packages are changed.
• ✅ #1866 Electron
Only electron changes, from 42.3.2 → 42.3.3, plus the expected root dev-dependency declaration. Its integrity matches npm. The package dependencies and binary-delivery metadata are unchanged. The old version’s npm deprecation warning is removed because 42.3.3 fixes the cited critical Buffer bug; no transitive packages are added.
Result
• All newly selected artifacts are older than seven days.
• Every changed or added lockfile integrity hash matches npm.
• The only newly added transitive packages are the two established Axios proxy packages.
• The other transitive changes are removals/deduplication, both confirmed against upstream source.
• No new lifecycle hooks, deprecated targets, unexpected registries, unexplained packages, or integrity mismatches were found.
I still consider all eight approvals, including #1939, valid from the supply-chain perspective.calm-artist-7206

07/25/2026, 1:10 PMactions/download-artifact@v8.
The Docker workflow uses it in 3 places:
• the multi-architecture manifest job downloads build information
• the consolidation job downloads build information
• the consolidation job downloads manifest information
All 3 steps succeeded in the Docker workflow run for PR 1927.
The workflow changed by PR 1927, mock-llm-e2e-comment.yml, did not run because it handles comments for fork PRs. However, the existing Docker jobs exercised the exact same download-artifact@v8 code successfully.
My earlier blocker was therefore wrong. I posted a corrective approval on PR 1927. The set is now 9 approved and 4 held.
PR 1868 proxy packages In plain English:
• https-proxy-agent lets Axios send an HTTPS request through a proxy server. It asks the proxy to open a tunnel to the destination, then sends the encrypted HTTPS traffic through that tunnel. Axios 1.18 uses it to handle HTTPS proxies correctly while preserving TLS settings and reusing connections.
• agent-base provides the low-level connection plumbing for packages such as https-proxy-agent. It connects a custom agent to Node’s HTTP system and gives it a standard way to create and return network sockets.
A simple analogy: https-proxy-agent knows how to route through a proxy, while agent-base supplies the standard adapter that lets it plug into Node. Neither package independently collects data or redirects traffic somewhere unexpected.calm-artist-7206

I have not merged #1921 or any other PR yet.
Proposed plan:
1. rerun the failed mock-LLM workflow job once
2. if it passes, merge #1921 and continue the remaining PRs sequentially
3. if a later PR has a similarly unrelated flaky failure, rerun that failed job once
4. stop and report if any failure repeats or looks dependency-related
Should I proceed with that plan?calm-artist-7206

Audit
• All 9 target PRs are confirmed MERGED, with their squash commits present on main.
• From the first dependency merge at 144847 UTC through the final merge at 165314 UTC, exactly these 9 PRs were merged—no others.
• #1943 merged earlier at 134515 UTC by `malhotra5`; this was the intervening main commit mentioned before the sequence and was not one of my dependency merges.
• The held PRs remain open and unmerged: #1938, #1937, #1936, and #1922.
• Unrelated flaky mock E2E jobs needed one rerun on #1921, #1882, #1881, and #1868; each passed before merge.
