somehow got several "Thinking" blocks here
@nutritious-balloon-65098 create an issue for a single thought getting logged as multiple Thinking blocks

I'm on it! Robert Brennan can track my progress here.
I've created the GitHub issue: **github.com/OpenHands/agent-canvas/issues/1825** Issue: "A single agent thought renders as multiple "Thinking" blocks" Summary of what I did: • Explored the relevant rendering code (
event-message.tsx
,
collapsible-thinking.tsx
,
event-thought-helpers.ts
) to ground the issue in actual code paths. • Root-caused the symptom: every event is rendered independently, so a reasoning trace streamed across multiple delta events (or split across action/observation reasoning) emits a separate
CollapsibleThinking
per chunk — producing the "several Thinking blocks" the user saw. • Filed the issue with the observed vs. expected behavior, the exact code location, related files, a suggested fix direction (coalesce adjacent reasoning into one block, mirroring the existing
groupEvents
folding), and a reproduction note. • Tagged it with the
bug
label and added the AI-authorship disclosure line per the repo's external-posting rules. No code changes were made — this was just an issue creation, so there's nothing to commit or push.
