it's labeled 'good first issue' and i have a codex sub, have been working in ACP lately. i'll have a look at it in a bit

ahh, i'm using the release version

The problem is there's been lots of parallel development of canvas and SDK ACP. And the canvas doesn't pin to a specific version of the SDK, so there are version mismatches. It will be more stable now that ACP is mostly done.
