We are failing an e2e test for the LLM onboarding page

❌	mock-llm-onboarding-regressions.spec.ts › onboarding recent regressions › defaults the LLM setup step to Anthropic Claude Opus	11.7s
This is because the default LLM setup might have been changed to OpenHands. It seems we've had PRs going back and forth on which provider should appear for a first time user Is there a final source of truth here? cc @hundreds-twilight-32833 @wooden-umbrella-84098 @limited-student-10747 @elegant-branch-54423 @calm-artist-7206 (pinging people in the past who've made comments regarding this, apologies I mistakenly pinged you as well)

I'm fine w/ gpt-5.5 if that's what we want. It just shouldn't be OpenHands
I think the answer is "what do most people have a token for" and my guess is Anthropic is more popular at this point

I don’t have a super-strong opinion here, but I think we could have “OpenHands” be the first one as long as people can choose other ones. Having the OpenHands provider shows people that it’s easy to use multiple models, which is one of our strong points.

I think it adds friction and confusion. Maybe better if we are able to add the "log in with openhands" button in the future
like someone might select OpenHands -> opus-4-7 and then paste an anthropic token, and get confused (I have done this 😅)

I've seen users do this ^^

OK, that makes sense! I think having “log in with openhands” and “byok” be separate paths would make a lot of sense.
