Hey folks! We're thinking of pinning specific version of extensions in the agent canvas project, instead of always auto updating with latest commits off main Any opinions on this? And if we proceed it would be nice to start tagging commits on the extensions repo

Is it time? Sooner or later we would, it just seemed easier for now to accept extensions as they come

I think so, the agent canvas references a bunch of sample code in various skills and that code is likely to change So versioning makes it easier for reproducibility

@quick-window-91705 looks like you're the one that setup publishing to NPM via OIDC? Did you have to do anything to bootstrap a new package?

I had to manually publish a package the first time around, then configure OIDC for future releases

I've got a draft PR to bring over the release pipeline and add an NPM publishing step: https://github.com/OpenHands/extensions/pull/303 Will take it out of draft once I can get into NPM.
