I misunderstood the rebasing instructions and ended up with a PR diff that includes changes from 
fix/remote-agent-server-backends
should I open a new PR from the mentioned base branch?

It might be easier to rebuild the PR from main branch, or tell your agent to
just for clarity, it should be from main
