• ✅ I investigated migration considerations from OpenHands OSS Local GUI to Agent Canvas.
• ✅ I created the requested GitHub issue in `OpenHands/agent-canvas`: https://github.com/OpenHands/agent-canvas/issues/1054
• ✅ No code or repository files were changed.
• ✅ No commits, pushes, or pull requests were needed.
The request was completely addressed.calm-artist-7206

06/03/2026, 8:39 AMOpenHands/software-agent-sdk because it contains the current openhands-agent-server persistence/settings/secrets/profile models.
• ✅ Confirmed software-agent-sdk version 1.24.0 matches Agent Canvas’ pinned default.
• ✅ Updated OpenHands/agent-canvas#1054 with a more definitive migration report.
• ✅ Removed speculative “may” / “maybe” wording from the issue body.
• ✅ Verified the updated issue body contains zero occurrences of “may” or “maybe”.
• ✅ Made no repository code changes, so there were no commits to create.
Key new verified findings added to the issue:
• Old Local GUI settings.json.agent_settings and conversation_settings are reused by the new agent-server model.
• Old plaintext LLM API keys and custom secret values are not usable under Agent Canvas’ default generated OH_SECRET_KEY flow because the new server attempts decryption and loads non-decryptable values as None.
• Old embedded llm_profiles are not imported into the new ~/.openhands/profiles/*.json profile store.
• Old provider_tokens are ignored by the local agent-server used by Agent Canvas.
• Old top-level app preferences and disabled skills are not imported from `settings.json`; Agent Canvas stores those in browser localStorage.
• config.toml is not read by Agent Canvas or openhands-agent-server.
The request has been completely addressed, and no extraneous code changes were made.
