The agent defines it - 30 minutes seems surprising to me - you can ask the agent to update it - I wonder if we should allow updating it in the UI?

Hmm gotcha - do you know where some of the config for these pre-built automations comes from? Is it in a public repo? I added the ability to edit the frequency to a list of UX changes here: https://github.com/OpenHands/agent-canvas/issues/871

The polling interval is not explicitly stated as part of the skills - but that would be where it is defined.

I think I know why. Instead of the python script hitting the GH API to check if new PRs are available, it runs a fresh new conversation every 30 mins. So, ultimately, this could be an expensive automation (e.g., runs 48 times per day and burns LLM tokens checking for new PRs to review).
Maybe that's why the agent chose 30 mins instead of a higher frequency poll.
I think this might be some of the variability we see with our current automations approach. I wonder if there's a more deterministic, configurable automation we can setup: • A pre-built script that takes in key-value config values from the user ◦ repo to monitor: acmeco/foo ◦ review style: [balanced, roasted] ◦ posting mode: [comment, no comment] • Script polls GH APIs every X minutes checking for new PRs etc ◦ Once it sees a new PR to review, it fires off a Conversation ◦ Else, no conversation run, saving you LLM tokens
@hundreds-twilight-32833 and I were discussing this exact scenario today where it seems like Automations are still very non-deterministic in how they get setup. Not anyone's fault, mostly a byproduct of how we've designed the system so far. But I think it could make for some unpredictable user experiences.

I love the power of the automations system, and with it comes more for the user to fiddle or reprompt though. I think some more prebuilt would be awesome
