This just feels like Tasks? (Old Delegate tool) with a verifier at the end?
m
@microscopic-night-41309 power users could do similar stuff before, but even for power users, reducing friction and standardization can have a big impact in daily usage
m
No, yea - I just meant behind the scenes - it's basically https://docs.openhands.dev/sdk/guides/task-tool-set with a verifier from what I see
Guess it's a bit more than that - but a good place to start I think thinky spin

@limited-student-10747 didn't waste anytime!! I might try to build a quick demo off this over the weekend, let me know if anyone has suggestions for how to show it off. https://github.com/OpenHands/software-agent-sdk/pull/3426

RLM folks immediately noticed that it’s … RLM-ish, which seems fair! https://x.com/a1zhang/status/2060071701879066626?s=61

I don't understand the big deal, isn't this just orchestrating lots of agents, I get making this work at scale is tricky, but isn't this pattern been around?
l
It’s like codeact for sub-agent delegation!

You write code to launch a whole bunch of agents
Whereas previously you used to have to make one tool call for every agent you launched
a
ok, so the outcome isn't new, just a simpler process for getting there -- that helps
@limited-student-10747 is this a fair comparison, full repo here: https://github.com/rajshah4/workflow-demos

These are really hard to read because of all the marketing fluss but what @limited-student-10747 said is spot on The way I read it was "Hey AI can now create the orchestrator in real time " (idk if that's right, but that's how I felt lol)
