Do you know if this behavior a major diverged from cloud or the old Local GUI?

It is a divergence from the existing openhands cloud - I don't know to what degree the agent canvas does this with the cloud backend - whether it uses worktrees or not

That is not a great experience for sure although I hadn't actually noticed. Maybe someone heavier on agent team could weigh in since its agent instruction
