Yes, it depends… developing Mac UI stuff is not possible, XCode is necessary. Last year sometime I tried to do the most Swift possible on OpenHands Cloud, and ended up with: • swift on linux • I made a skill for OpenHands, we have it in extensions/ now • unit tests work • dependency issues were a time sink (because of course) • but, no dice on Swift UI -> avoid UI deps and go back to MacBook • (Gemini 2.0 Flash-Thinking was very smart and more useful than Gemini 2.0 Pro)
On the bright side, it forces a strict separation between the app and its UI, which, hey, is not a bad thing đź«
On the other hand, in general. Right now, if I think, where is best, I may come up usually with my MacBook, and I think the main reason is that my agent has user skills and memory and other information that is on there. I'm not sure if we solved yet user-defined marketplaces on the cloud? Without them, idk, I either do stuff that doesn’t need them, or I have to tell the agent “read enyst/this first, and that”

Yep, agree with this!
