Was just discussing a Release process with @hundreds-twilight-32833. A few things motivating this: • Our near term goal should be to focus on stability, reliability, and bug fixing. This is to ensure a good 'first time' experience once we move this out of Alpha/Preview status • Right now, the current
git clone
and
npm run dev
approach means you may catch a commit that either 1) breaks things or 2) fixes things. Having a release process that validates a stable build will be important for always serving a reliable, stable first time experience while more advanced users can always pull from

I do still want to get couple of product changes in before the official release, namely these ones: • https://github.com/OpenHands/agent-canvas/issues/348 • https://github.com/OpenHands/agent-canvas/issues/233 I'll work on them in the next couple of days! lolsob frankly, I don't want to do the official release until i can move 100% of my CLI/Cloud workload to canvas - bc i think that will bring the most value to people the first time they try this project out

maybe we can do a product check-in like every week or smth, try to understand WHY are we not doing all the stuff in agent-canvas AND fix them - we can go ahead w/ official beta release when at least a few of us (robert, me, graham, rohit, hiep, etc) are performing most of our work (>80%) in the agent-canvas
