@chilly-france-44439 Openhands review-bot calling Openhands with at.openhands because of "give feedback" message at the end https://github.com/OpenHands/OpenHands/pull/14171#issuecomment-4336427870 šŸ˜…

I just saw that too šŸ˜… @nutritious-balloon-65098 please go to the OpenHands/extension repo and remove the "OpenHands iterate" at the end of the code review skill. It will actually trigger OpenHands bots to call OpenHands by itself.

I'm on it! Xingyao Wang can track my progress here.
Summary Request: Remove the "OpenHands iterate" text at the end of the code review skill in the OpenHands/extensions repo, because it triggers OpenHands bots to call OpenHands bots in a loop. Checklist • Identified the problematic text — Line 176 in
skills/code-review/SKILL.md
contained: `> Resolve with AI? Comment
@openhands /iterate
on this PR, or install the [iterate skill](...) in your own agent and run
/iterate
.`
• Removed only the offending paragraph — Deleted just the 2-line "Resolve with AI?" block that contained
@openhands /iterate
, leaving the rest of the "Improve this review?" guidance intact.
• Verified no other occurrences — Searched the entire repo for similar
@openhands
+
iterate
references; none found elsewhere.
• Committed the change with a clear commit message explaining the bot-loop issue. Conciseness The change is minimal — exactly 2 lines deleted, nothing added, no extraneous modifications. The self-improvement message block still works (the "Improve this review?" customization guidance remains), just without the line that was inadvertently triggering bot-to-bot loops. Pending The commit is local on the working branch. I asked whether to push and open a PR but haven't received confirmation yet.

Summary Request: Remove the "OpenHands iterate" text at the end of the code review skill in the OpenHands/extensions repo to prevent OpenHands bots from triggering each other in a loop. Checklist • Located the problematic text in
skills/code-review/SKILL.md
(line 176): the "Resolve with AI?" paragraph containing ``@openhands /iterate``
• Removed only that paragraph — the rest of the "Improve this review?" self-improvement message block is preserved • Verified no other occurrences of
@openhands /iterate
exist elsewhere in the repo
• Committed the change with a clear commit message • Pushed and created PR: **https://github.com/OpenHands/extensions/pull/220** Conciseness The change is minimal — exactly 2 lines deleted (the blank line + the "Resolve with AI?" paragraph). No extraneous changes were made.
Summary The user asked me to modify the code review skill in the
OpenHands/extensions
repo to remove the
@openhands /iterate
text that was causing OpenHands review bots to trigger other OpenHands bots in a loop (as seen on this PR comment). What was done 1. Initial change: Removed the entire "Resolve with AI?" paragraph from
skills/code-review/SKILL.md
. 2. Follow-up (per user feedback): Added back a safe version of the "Resolve with AI?" line that avoids the literal
@openhands /iterate
mention. The new wording directs users to install the iterate skill and run
/iterate
themselves, without mentioning
@openhands
which would trigger bot loops. Checklist • Removed the literal
@openhands /iterate
text that triggered bot-calling-bot loops
• Kept the "Resolve with AI?" suggestion as requested by the user • Reworded to say "Install the iterate skill in your agent and run `/iterate`" instead • Does not present the literal "openhands/iterate" in a way that triggers OpenHands bots • Changes committed and pushed to PR #220 Conciseness The changes are minimal — only the relevant paragraph in
skills/code-review/SKILL.md
was modified (2 lines changed). No extraneous changes.
