There is a PR in progress for Model switching in the CLI but I can't find any active PRs that might be working on model switching in the GUI or the pre-req LLM Profile Management piece. There are some basic designs to support (I'll add in 🧵 ) but I think there might need to be some conversations on syncing model profiles between cloud and local so

@modern-fireman-99755 is working on this, but we’re trying to get my settings PR in the GUI and then figure out the settings for model switching. Still waiting on code review for mine

I’d like to get the architecture right first, maybe also doing an analogous settings PR to the GUI PR in the CLI, and then another to get model switching in the CLI

This PR for the CLI has a good demo video for model switching https://github.com/OpenHands/OpenHands-CLI/pull/575#issuecomment-4189180302 . I don't know how much it would need to be refactored after the settings PR goes in (if at all).
