Just a heads-up, OpenAI released plugins. The format, including marketplace.json, seems similar at first sight with Anthropic’s, but not identical (…of course 😅). Crazy amount of plugins in their repo, some could be interesting to get inspiration from: • https://github.com/openai/plugins/ • licensed Apache 2.0, easy, we can import them directly • I'll make sure we add the license somewhere Note: Anthropic “_document_ _skills_” like pptx, docx, are proprietary, with a VERY unfriendly license

Thanks for sharing! The plugin evolution continues!

They are expected located at …
.codex-plugins

heh, I like our generic approach of .plugins 😄

In some unknown number of months, we’ll see something converging - maybe to
.plugins
!

Interesting, codex is also introducing the concept of a default initial prompt - see
interface.defaultPrompt
Example: https://github.com/openai/plugins/blob/main/plugins/angi/.codex-plugin/plugin.json

Wow
I feel like that kind of validates your and @curved-angle-80449 ‘s intuition about that 🔥

Just commented on John-Mason's PR that creates support for
entry_command
. We may want to be compatible with Codex too. https://github.com/OpenHands/software-agent-sdk/pull/2230

Thanks for the tip! Agreed about maintaining compatibility. Will explore and document. Turns out that on March 24 and March 27 OpenAI deleted a total of 218 plugins from their repo as "not used". Tracking plugin use would be great thing to do. I had previously imagined using https://github.com/OpenHands/OpenHands/issues/13454 to allow customers to track "recipe" use, but probably good to have a low level and automatic observability solution to this.
@calm-artist-7206 Thanks for the tip about @wooden-umbrella-84098’s PR. Add tags support to conversations API software-agent-sdk#2454 Glad to see this moving forward!
