@quick-window-91705 What ceremony is required for a release? I am trying to wrap up a PR for https://github.com/OpenHands/OpenHands-CLI/issues/535 and I would love if we could cut release to unblock a customer tonight or tomorrow AM. Is that realistic?
q
It's realistic I can move our release documentation for the CLI so that its public
c
@quick-window-91705 You tested w/ IDEA/Intellij?
q
nope i have not
c
Is there anyone at OpenHands that has? Is there an engineer on the IDEA team we have contact with?
@limited-student-10747 Do you know?
@elegant-branch-54423 Do you know?
l
I tested with intellij using ACP
It was a long time ago though
e
We have a shared slack with Jetbrains people, but not sure if they provide support. We could ask if we have a specific issue we're running into. Separately, @quick-window-91705 recently did some work on ACP Registry support I think
c
Please do add me to slack channel. I can't get it to work and our debug logs and IntelliJ logs aren't helping. I'd like to test against EAP version to see if I have better luck there but need a license for that.
l
I think you get a free license for N days if you sign up
c
Yes but I don't think that translates to EAP--though I'll check email to see if they sent me something that way.
l
Also it’s pretty cheap, I’m sure it’d be possible to expense it. But I can add you to the channel
Oh, the EAP version. IIRC you didn’t need anything special to use the EAP version other than a subscription, but you can ask

@curved-angle-80449 here are the release procedure instructions: https://github.com/OpenHands/OpenHands-CLI/blob/main/RELEASE_PROCEDURE.md
c
Thanks Rohit! I realized I could / should have user test by installing from the cmd added to PR description on build so that reduced pressure on getting the release out.
