Hello all, which option I should choose for using Bedrock in my AWS account?
w
I think it's just under "bedrock"
b
Hello Robert, I don't see the
bedrock
option. Am I missing something?
w
hmm you're right, I don't have it either

If you go to advanced settings, you should be able to set the model name to any of these: https://docs.litellm.ai/docs/providers/bedrock
actually that might be why--bedrock requires a host URL
this might help. we should have bedrock docs too: https://docs.openhands.dev/openhands/usage/llms/google-llms
looks like this is a WIP 😅

https://github.com/OpenHands/docs/pull/43 may help, but I'm not sure if it's tested. In particular surprised the access key ID isn't mentioned
https://github.com/OpenHands/docs/pull/291 I believe is fully tested, but is specifically for the SDK, not the web UI

thanks Graham, is it only available through CLI experience?
l
I believe you can also set it for the GUI through env vars or config files but it's not accessible through the UI, one sec
I think this will likely work, but I haven't tested it myself:
# AWS credentials for Bedrock authentication
export LLM_AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID="your-aws-access-key"
export LLM_AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY="your-aws-secret-key"
export LLM_AWS_REGION_NAME="us-east-1" # Your Bedrock region

# Bedrock model name (prefix with bedrock/)
export LLM_MODEL="bedrock/model_name"
Do that before you run OpenHands
w
I think you'd need to also pass those with
-e
when running OpenHands in docker
