Hi! I am building a coding agent that replicates UI, it's v1 and will transition to design system from url in v2 with no images, custom content etc... I am currently using googles ADK and honestly want to switch SDK bcs I just plain don't like google and working with google as a developer, and I then would need an agent SDK in python that I can run in sandboxes that I have via modal, would openhands SDK be suitable here? or is it more intended for hobby projects? I haven't had time to read up on this quite yet but it seems that this might be the solution to go with, also having it be model agnostic is important.

The OpenHands SDK is a good fit, but we don’t currently have a modal workspace implemented: https://github.com/OpenHands/software-agent-sdk/tree/e6ab3d1bc4f832987ef13594da62dbbf38162918/openhands-sdk/openhands/sdk/workspace There are two options here: 1. Just run the agent SDK from within a modal sandbox (probably easier) 2. Implement a modal workspace similar to the remote workspace we already have in the sdk above

Thank you, appreciate your help! This seems really good, I'll run the SDK from within modal sandbox, this seems literally perfect! I read your roadmap, what is the goal of the SDK, is it something you are gonna put effort into or let community build on it? I have been looking at lots of SDKs, and there are so many for building agents, but everysingle one has at least one really big tradeoff for me, this seems it could be super good though!

The SDK is heavily supported by the OpenHands maintainers as it's the core of everything we do, but OpenHands is a community project so we're always happy to have more folks join the community and contribute, build on it etc
