Given the current funding climate, I feel that China is a perfectly reasonable place to put the lede.

Technically, from the US, if you dig straight through, you end up somewhere in the Indian Ocean, in the southern hemisphere; not China 😉 Deep, but not deep enough

The Antipode of Pittsburgh is just west of Perth Australia I think 🙂
