I am really enjoying the new Task Tracking feature. It makes it easy to check in on long running conversations to see where the agent is!

Are you using Sonnet or GPT-5? As of now, I find GPT-5 behavior amusing, it does things in a different order, and then seems to forget the tracking in a corner

This was Sonnet! Was having OH try and create an electron app. Still need to work on my prompts for this one.

I've seening this too! mostly after condensation, is this happening for you too?
c
It's happening, but I'm not sure if after condensation 🤔 Maybe! I'll pay attention to that

i only found OH recently. i had been fighting Claude Code on its task tracking feature known as its ‘todo list’. it gets confused if you change what you are doing and does not keep its built-in “todo” list list up to date 😕. so i told it in my CLAUDE.md or CLAUDE.local.md to use a set of md bullet points to track the tasks/todo (exactly like the openhands features!) yet for some reason Claude Code would only do that if I insisted then it would forget to do it almost immediately 😡. it was driving me crazy. 😆 then someone put a proxy in-front of Claude Code and extracted/published the system prompts to their news letter audience (dm me if you wanna know). The built-in Claude Code system prompts really forced the use of its (buggy/useless) built-in “todo list” task tracking. so then i tried asking Claude Code to tell me what was in its “todo list” as it was working to add/remove etc by telling it what to do and it ignored that. boy was it frustrating. then i found openhands and it is task tracking like a boss 🚀😀 so far everything is working great with openhands and still finding my way around so not yet had to try to tweak things or run into migraines like with Claude Code on such a basic feature as task tracking.
