Sorry if I'm insisting about devcontainers: whether you officially support them or not, as soon as a user opens the project in VS Code, they'll be prompted to reopen it as a devcontainer. You should make sure there's no confusion and that everything works as expected. If they end up with not just one, but two broken development environments (which they both were), they definitely won't be happy.

Yeah, I think it’s nice to have a devcontainer, but I’m just not sure if we are using

make docker-dev

for anything… If not then we can maybe remove it
