Yo, a practically beginner here I'm working on a 3D CHT simulation for a cold plate using chtMultiRegionFoam on OF2212. Im making a heatsink with custom naca airfoil profiles I keep running into a massive open boundary leak around the sharp thin trailing edges of the airfoils Because of the leak, snappyHexMesh completely fails to separate the zones then it dumps millions of cells into a single generic solid region leaves the fluid region at 0 cells, obviously making spilitmesh region useless What I have tried : Switched over to Gmsh to make a cleaner conformal mesh via Opencascade boolean operations but I'm wrestling with parser syntax errors on my .geo script when trying to subtract the fluid domain and map physical g roups. tbh im not well adjusted with gmsh so i did rely on Ai for it Remake the entire geometry and double check if i actually missed something I use freeCad if that could be the issue Thought about abandoning snappy's auto flood-fill entirely and using coordinate slicing via topoSet / cellSet to mathematically force the region split.
