I am somewhat confused by the wall function boundary conditions with turbulence modeling. If I use wall functions like omegaWallFunction, does the solver resolve the viscous sublayer where y+ is below 1 and otherwise apply wall functions when y+ is large ? Should I use a different boundary condition if I intend to resolve the viscous boundary layer?
