some panels are kinda "children" of other panels (and i don't mean popups here) so i was wondering if left/right took you through the primary panels and up/down takes you through any secondary panels

extending this to one handed - i was thinking of using the B button or equivalent to spawn a panel in front of the controller (maybe you need to keep B held)?

then the thumbstick could navigate to other panels (similar to how the wand works now)

Obviously "holding b" doesn't work with the thumbstick - unless you have 2 thumbs - but I'm just spitballing here.

for hands - i think it's better to stick closer to the current ui (wand in the off hand) unless we also want "one hand but no controllers"

for the tilt5 and similar - I'm not sure. that makes more sense to have the panels locked to a real world location

I've started a branch to work on a general "Inspector Panel" that shows info and controls specific to the current selection.

Interesting, might be more fluid, might also be a really good way to accidentally resize things you are trying to move Suppose will have to open that up at some point and see how it feels to use

He makes some good points. That recall button is really handy. In a practical sense the only issue in that regard I've had is getting parts of a sculpt caught behind a wall, when trying to do things in mixed reality like drawing a room and getting a line behind a wall, while not wanting to move everything else out of place. That was months ago, using quest 2 and an unscanned room. His point about scanning is understandable. There are definitely people who don't want facebook of all people to put cameras in their house and map their spaces, which I cannot really be surprised by

Really it does go without saying testing, and beta testing and testing some more is one of the most important things you can do as a software developer. One of the things I noticed when I did IT is that users of the software(cough like me ahem) will try to get the software you are working on to do things that it was no mention to do. For instance I am trying to increase the webcam window size, because that means I could create all of my animations and visual effects in side of the VR as like a backdrop to my art. (My computer might cook itself in the process but it would be epic!!!
