Hello! A bit of a philosophical question - is there a model for doing function-level unit testing for Python scripts in
bin/
, rather than only at the whole module level? Or is the philosophy that each module should be small enough to not need lower-level unit tests? Or maybe that more complex scripts should be packaged separately? Or just using pytest + nf-test in tandem? I'm not sure if I've seen examples in existing pipelines.

As far as I know, I’ve only seen the bin scripts wrapt in nf-test tests while making various combinations of the input to ensure the script being correct. Ideally, you wouldn’t need a a custom python script and move it to a seperate package and have a distinction between package functionality & nextflow module functionality.
