I was chatting offline with @James Fellows Yates on naming standardization re: the epic hackathon record discussion. My very tangential thought was linkml.io , I have barely started to understand what it might be useful for, but thought to raise it to the group in case other people not have heard of it, and might find it useful for one thing or another.

My context: I was working on it in my previous job in one of my other main projects It's a very good and flexible data modeling language with a lot tooling around it including a python packaging. If we ever went into the direction of defining our own data and metadata standards it might be useful, particularly if we want to link from other things (like ontologies)
