Hey everyone, When running
rnasplice
, anyone encountered
MULTIQC
errors, like this:
Copy code
Process `NFCORE_RNASPLICE:RNASPLICE:MULTIQC` declares 6 input channels but 4 were specified

 -- Check script 'rnasplice/./workflows/rnasplice.nf' at line: 793 or see '.nextflow.log' file for more details
I'm currently using
1.0.4
version. And also, this is after
nf-core modules update --all
command: https://nf-co.re/docs/nf-core-tools/modules/update. When investigating, ChatGPT suggested that it might have something to do with these lines (they’re around line 793):
Copy code
MULTIQC (
       ch_multiqc_files.collect(),
       ch_multiqc_config.toList(),
       ch_multiqc_custom_config.toList(),
       ch_multiqc_logo.toList()
   )

I'm pretty sure you updated some modules in your pipeline installation to versions that are incompatible with the pipeline. This command is intended for developers, who can then fix the fallout and release a new version of the pipeline. As an enduser, if you want to run the latest (sometimes broken) bleeding edge of a pipeline, you can do that with
nextflow run nf-core/<pipeline> -r dev ...
or downloading the
dev
version with
nf-core download -r dev <other options> nf-core/<pipeline>
.

@Thomas Danhorn Got it. Then yeah, I'll leave alone
nf-core modules update
or
nf-core modules update --all
commands. Thanks for giving me this insight!! ❤️
