Is there a way to enable a preview feature depending on the version of nextflow being used? I want my pipeline to support nextflow 25.04 and 25.10 simultaneously while also using the output feature which was in preview prior to 25.10. Trying to run the pipeline without the preview flag in 25.04, and trying to run with the preview flag in 25.10, are both errors.

I don't know if there is a good way to do this within the pipeline code (check the Nextflow version [how?] and conditionally activate a preview via

<http://nextflow.enable.xyz|nextflow.enable.xyz> = true

). But you could definitely do that in a wrapper script (e.g. by parsing

nextflow -version

and then setting appropriate command line parameters).
