So I have added some files that are published in a folder in the outdir thats path includes the md5sum of the param string (excluding the timesamp). When I added a new parameter in a PR, the CI test complains
> java.lang.RuntimeException: Path /home/runner/_work/ampliseq/ampliseq/~/tests/519115beacd3a930299524b4cb403bd0/output/comparison/c5a180b4b323d4eeb1123d2654185ca8_2.19.0dev/nucleotide-differences.tsv not found.
Where c5a180b4b323d4eeb1123d2654185ca8 is the md5sum of the prams string. See
github.com/nf-core/…/84780976840?pr=1025.
I am not sure why its specifically complaining about "nucleotide-differences.tsv", because that folder contains more files. But nucleotide-differences.tsv is the only one thats checked for its md5sum, see
github.com/nf-core/ampliseq/blob/…/pplace_sheet.nf.test#….
Instead of simply failing, I would have hoped that the CI test gives me a diff what files changed, as usual. Why is that not happening?
(I do not insist on the folder path that includes the md5sum, I could also solve that differently)
Edit: another note: the nf-test locally produces a different md5sum compared to the CI execution of the test, so from a maintenance perspective I might have to change that anyhow.
