I have noticed that the PR template still mentions

nextflow run . -profile test

as the method to test a pipeline. Shouldn't we change it to

nf-test test tests/

now that pipeline tests are well-established? As a side note, we still don't have

nf-core pipelines test

Personally,

nextflow run . -profile test

is still my default test approach because I have direct control of where the outputs go and I can inspect them carefully during development. It also supports

-resume

. Then, once I’ve validated the outputs are the way I want,

nf-test -update-snapshots

to get it recorded for future CI runs
