I have noticed one (rather inconsequential) issue. After transitioning to topic versions, we have a major disparity in line lengths between "normal" and topic outputs. This would make Harshil alignment rather awkward if the current rule is kept. Do we want to keep the current rule, or do we consider topics a separate alignment "context"? So far I have done the latter, but it is not official practice. As a side note, we might want to reconsider Harshil alignment since it is not too friendly to code formatters and coding assistants alike, but that is a more complex discussion.

I gave up on alignment for auto format

We might want to change the documentation for that (I'm not doing it this time though, I already have enough comment wars to deal with)

All code SHOULD otherwise be aligned to follow the '[Harshil Alignment™️](/docs/contributing/code_editors_and_styling/harshil_alignment)' format, if it does not violate the Nextflow strict syntax specifications.
Says SHOULD
