I am missing today, too much things to do moving across country. I have a question: is there any guidelines to up date tools versions in modules?

i meant, if I want to bump the version of the tool that is used in a module. there is any thing to consider? there are some modules that are using some old versions but I am not sure things to consider to have anew docker image with new version of the tool and then bump the module version as well. or it is fine, because pipeline's maintainers will update the module when they want, even if there are new versions

Oh I see. I would say, update the tools whenever. If people update the modules but want to keep behind in their pipeline, they can still patch modules, or even rewrite the containers/conda declarations
