Hi, I was updating
hmtnote
to topic, but it seems the maintainer has deprecated this tool in 2023 (https://github.com/robertopreste/hmtnote). And the database hosting service is also now shutdown (https://github.com/robertopreste/HmtVar). The singularity image does contain a backup of the db, but the conda environment can't access it, hence conda unittest failing. Should I deprecate the process or should I remove conda support ?
m
is it used in any pipeline?

Good question 🤔
It doesn't seems to be the case.

Due to HmtVar not being available anymore, this tool is now archived. Apologies for any inconvenience. (from https://github.com/robertopreste/hmtnote)
sounds to me like we should also deprecate the module (people can still use the old version if they really need. (please remember to also indicate deprecation in the meta.yml https://deploy-preview-4223--nf-core-docs.netlify.app/docs/developing/components/deprecating-components)
