Is there a way to request from the Seqera container website a container with minimum package versions?
Let's say:
• X >= 2.7
• Y
• Z
s.t. X is at least 2.7 and Y,Z whatever/latest compatible version. I cannot manage to get the conda syntax done in the search field.

It might be easier to do it through a conda.yml and use Seqera Wave CLI. Use
--freeze
to host it on Seqera Containers.

I think the web UI really tries to get you to pin a specific version

Is there any reason to build with a range instead of a specific version?

I need to include a legacy software into a pipeline. This software has, according to its README, very outdated dependencies. I thought I should update every dependency a much as possible. Setting everything to latest doesn't compile as conda env.

My approach now is that I'll let conda/mamba solve this and then fix versions in Seqera container
